Hi there! My name is Kelly. I’m a 30-something mom of two (well, four if you count my two furbabies). Here are my kiddos. I’m sure you’ll see a lot of them around these parts.

I’m happily married to my high-school sweetheart. His new job recently brought us from Austin to New Hampshire. We were ready for a new adventure, and man, are we getting it. Hiking, woods, snow . . . a whole new world of photographic opportunities!

And photography? It’s kind of my obsession. Capturing moments and freezing them in time forever. Because I’m a mom and I KNOW how time marches on, even past the most wonderful moments in life. I know how your kids go to bed one night and wake up the next morning a foot taller. I know that memories are imperfect, and that despite our best intentions to be present; to absorb every detail; to remember a moment, a look, a feeling forever . . . we look back one day and it’s gone. The gorgeous curve of a pregnant belly. The way a newborn’s entire body fits on just your forearm. The way your son’s head fits perfectly into the curve of your neck. Your daughter’s ringlet curls. The chubby fingers, the long eyelashes, the innocence and energy and raucous laughter of your children as they grow into boisterous toddlers and preschoolers. The quiet seriousness of them as they become school aged. The first backpack. The first bike helmet. The first skinned knee. The first purse.

Our lives are filled with a million tiny details, a million moments that fill our souls with happiness. I’m still working on a way to freeze time, to bottle those details up so that you can replay them, relive them again and again, wrapping them around you and reveling in them whenever you feel the need. In the meantime, I take pictures. Pictures that preserve those moments for you, pictures that you can look back on in 30 years, or 10 years, or even just one year, when everything has already changed.
