We are smack-dab in the middle of winter, but I was digging through some photos from the fall and realized I never really shared any of the foliage pictures I snapped.
These were taken our second autumn in New Hampshire.
What happened to the pics from our first fall, you ask? Oh. There are none.
I made it all the way through our first fall without having taken a SINGLE foliage picture. You know why? Because I drove around for six weeks with heart-eyes. I was so enamored of my first-ever New England fall that I didn’t stop to capture it . . . I just was IN IT. And that was awesome.
But then winter came and I realized I really wanted those foliage pics. So when our second fall rolled around, I was ready.
Now, a nature and landscape photographer I am not. I dabble and play, but I still have so much to learn about the sweeping vistas and the framing of scenery. But for my first-ever *photographed* fall, I’m pretty happy with how these turned out.
Forget about that beautiful snow outside, and return to fall for a few. <3
